The Left:
Fooled
Again
by
Mark
Crispin Miller
According
to Mark Crispin Miller, the 2004 election was marked by
mass quantities of irregularities - machine
malfunctions, logistical misinformation, bureaucratic
red tape and overt partisan harassment. And all of
these irregularities, seemingly random in and of
themselves, had the cumulative effect of hampering the
Democratic vote, but not the Republican vote.
Adding
to the injury, the press - far from suffering from the
'liberal bias' it has been accused of - stayed oddly
silent, never giving anything but token shrift to the
multitudes of anomalies. Miller believes this
pattern of "electoral fraud" is the new
Republican strategy, designed not to compete with
democracy, but to do away with it.

A
Deficit of Decency
by
Zell Miller
In
A Deficit of Decency, Zell Miller identifies the
multi-faceted challenges we face as a nation today. All
of America's problems, writes Miller, necessitate a
return to "a sense of duty and decency that lies at
our nation's foundation."
Throughout his book,
Miller addresses issues including elitism and pandering
in Washington, D.C., declining Christian values, the
unfair federal tax code and criminals earning millions
as professional athletes. Miller
also responds to the criticism he has received from
longtime friends and allies because of his turning
against the Democratic Party.
